Powell Industries, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to develop, design, manufacture and service custom engineered-to-order equipment and systems for the management and control of electrical energy and other critical processes. The Group operates in two segments. Electrical Power Products includes equipment and systems for the distribution and control of electrical energy. Process Control Systems consists principally of instrumentation, computer controls, communications and data management systems to control and manage critical processes. The Group customers includes customers include oil and gas producers, oil and gas pipelines, refineries, petrochemical plants, electrical power generators, public and private utilities, co-generation facilities, mining/metals, pulp and paper plants, transportation systems, governmental agencies and other large industrial customers.
