Business Description
Southern Union Company. The Group's principal activities are the transportation, storage and distribution of natural gas. The Transportation and Storage segment is engaged in the interstate transportation and storage of natural gas and also provides Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) terminalling and regasification services. Its operations are conducted through Panhandle. The natural gas transmission units include Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company, Trunkline Gas Company, Sea Robin Pipeline Company etc. The Gathering and Processing segment is engaged in the gathering, treating, processing and redelivery of natural gas and NGL in Texas and New Mexico. The Distribution segment is primarily engaged in the local distribution of natural gas in Missouri and Massachusetts. The local distribution companies, Missouri Gas Energy, PG Energy and New England Gas Company serves nearly one million natural gas end-user customers in Missouri, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
