Sun Communities, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to own, operate and develop manufactured housing communities concentrated in the midwestern, southern, and southeastern United States. It operates in two segments: Real Property Operations and Home Sales and Rentals. The Real Property Operations segment owns, operates and develops manufactured housing communities. The Home Sales and Rentals segment offers manufactured home sales and leasing services to tenants and prospective tenants of communities. The Group is engaged through a taxable subsidiary, Sun Home Services Inc, a Michigan corporation in the marketing, selling, and leasing of new and pre-owned homes to current and future residents in communities. The Group owned and operated a portfolio of 136 properties located in 18 states including 124 manufactured housing communities, 4 recreational vehicle communities, and 8 properties containing both manufactured housing and recreational vehicle sites.
