Business Description
Twin Disc, Incorporated. The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and market heavy-duty off-highway power transmission equipment for domestic and foreign customers. The Groups operations are carried out through two segments: Manufacturing and Distribution. The products include marine transmissions and surface drives; power-shift transmissions; power take-offs and reduction gears; industrial clutches; and control systems. The Group sells its products to customers primarily in the pleasure craft, commercial and military marine markets as well as in the energy and natural resources, government and industrial markets. The Group's worldwide sales to both domestic and foreign customers are transacted through a direct sales force and a distributor network. The Group operates in the United States, Italy, Belgium, Japan, Switzerland and some other countries.
