Business Description
U.S. Concrete, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to produce ready-mixed concrete, precast concrete products and related products. It operates through ready-mixed concrete and concrete-related products segment and precast products concrete segment. It formulates, prepares and delivers ready-mixed concrete to the job sites of customers. The Group's specialized finished products include utility vaults, manholes, catch basins, highway barriers, curb inlets, pre-stressed bridge girders, concrete piles and custom-designed architectural products. It also provides services to reduce customers overall construction costs by lowering the installed in-place cost of concrete. As of 02-Mar-2009, the Group had 132 fixed and 12 portable ready-mixed concrete plants, seven precast concrete plants, one concrete block plant and seven producing aggregates facilities. It operates in Texas, California, New Jersey, New York, Washington DC, Michigan and Oklahoma.
