Business Description
Unisource Energy Corporation. The Group operates through the following divisions: TEP, UNS Gas, UNS Electric. The operations are conducted through its wholly owned subsidiaries, Tucson Electric Power Company (TEP), UniSource Energy Services, Inc. (UES), Millennium Energy Holdings, Inc (Millennium) and UniSource Energy Development Company (UED). TEP is a vertically integrated utility that provides regulated electric service. UES provides gas and electric service to 30 communities in northern and southern Arizona. Millennium invests in unregulated ventures related primarily to the energy business, including a developer of thin-film batteries, a developer of small-scale commercial satellites and a developer and manufacturer of thin-film photo voltaic cells. UED engages in developing generating resources and other project development activities, including facilitating the expansion of the Springerville Generating Station.
