Unitrin, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to provide property and casualty insurance, life and health insurance and automobile finance services. It operates in five segments: Kemper, Unitrin Specialty, Unitrin Direct, Life and Health Insurance and Fireside Bank. The Kemper segment provides preferred and standard risk personal automobile insurance, homeowners. The Unitrin Specialty segment provides automobile insurance. On 01-Apr-2008, the Group completed its acquisition of Primesco.
