Uroplasty, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to develop, manufacture and market innovative, proprietary products for the treatment of voiding dysfunctions. The products include Urgent PC(R) system, which is office-based neurostimulation therapy for the treatment of urinary urgency, urinary frequency and urge incontinence symptoms often associated with overactive bladder (OAB) and Macroplastique(R), a urethral bulking agent for the treatment of adult female stress urinary incontinence due to intrinsic sphincter deficiency (ISD). The Urgent PC system uses percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS) to deliver an electrical pulse that travels to the sacral nerve plexus, a control center for bladder function. It also offers Macroplastique(R), a minimally invasive, implantable soft tissue urethral bulking agent for the treatment of adult female stress urinary incontinence. The Group operates in the United States, Canada and Europe.
