V. F. Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and market branded jeans wear, intimate apparel, occupational apparel, knitwear, outdoor apparel and equipment, children's playwear and other apparel. The products include Jeanswear, Outdoor, Imagewear, Sportswear and Contemporary Brands. Jeanswear includes denim and casual bottoms and tops. Outdoor include Performance- oriented apparel, footwear, handbags, backpacks, luggage, and travel accessories. Imagewear includes occupational, athletic, and licensed apparel. Sportswears include fashion sportswear, denim bottoms, sleepwear, and accessories. Contemporary Brands includes premium denim bottoms, sportswear, and women's activewear. The Group discontinued VF's domestic and international women's intimate apparel business units on 22-Jan-2007. On 27-Aug-2007 the Group acquired lucy activewear, inc. On 31-Aug-2007 the Group acquired Seven For All Mankind, LLC. In 2007 it acquired Eagle Creek, Inc.
