Valentis, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to develop products for peripheral arterial disease and is a clinical-stage biotechnology company. The Group focuses on research, preclinical and early stage clinical development of products in several therapeutic areas including cardiovascular disorders, oncology, haematology and immunology. The Group has three product platforms for the development of novel therapeutics namely the gene medicine, GeneSwitch (r) and DNA vaccine platforms. GeneSwitch (r) platform controls erythropoietin protein production from an injected gene by orally administered drug.
