Business Description
WGL Holdings Incorporated. The Group's principal activities are to sell and deliver natural gas and provide energy-related products and services. It operates in four segments: Regulated Utility, Retail Energy Marketing and Design-build Energy Systems and Other. The Regulated Utility segment provides regulated gas distribution services, including the purchase and delivery of natural gas, meter reading, bill preparation and responding to customer inquiries. The Energy Marketing segment distributes natural gas directly to customers. The Design-build Energy Systems provides solutions to government and commercial clients. The Group provides the services to the customers primarily in the metropolitan Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia area.
