Business Description
Waste Technology Corp.. The Group's principal activity is to manufacture and sell balers, which are machines used to compress and compact various waste materials. The Group manufactures approximately fifty different types of balers for use with corrugated, paper, municipal waste, textiles, scrap metal and other products. Balers utilize mechanical, hydraulic and electrical mechanisms to compress a variety of materials into bales for easier and low cost handling, shipping, disposal, storage and bulk sales for recycling. Balers offered by the Group include general purpose horizontal and vertical balers; specialty balers, such as hose used for low level radioactive waste, fifty-five gallon drums, aluminum cans and rubber and textile waste; and accessory equipment such as conveyors, rufflers, bale tying machines and plastic bottle piercers. The Group markets its products in Canada, China, The United Kingdom, India, Korea, Japan, Russia and Brazil.
