Business Description
Westell Technologies Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to design, manufacture, and distributes telecommunications equipment. These products are used by telephone companies and telecommunication service providers. The Group operates in two segments. The Telecom Equipment designs, distributes, markets and services digital and legacy analog products for copper telephone wires and fiber wires. This segment consists of two product lines: Customer Networking Equipment (CNE) products and Outside Plant System (OSPlant System) products. Telecom services segment provides audio, video, and web conferencing services used to hold voice, video or web conferences with many people at the same time. The Group also provides broadband and digital subscriber line (DSL) technology solutions. In addition, it provides DSL products and solutions for Internet Service Providers. It operates in the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, London and Canada. On 02-Jan-2007, the Group acquired Noran Tel Inc.
