York Water Company (The). The Group's principal activities are impounding, purifying and distributing water within its franchised territory situated in York Country, Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PPUC) regulates the Group in the areas of billing, payment procedures, dispute processing, terminations, service territory and rate setting. The Group obtains water supply from the south branch and east branch of the Codorus Creek.
