Business Description
Austriamicrosystems AG. The Group's principal activities are the development and production of application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) and the provision of customer solutions. The Group's activities are carried out through two divisions: Analog/Mixed-Signal Products and Full Service Foundry and Other. The Analog/Mixed-Signal Products segment includes the design and distribution of custom integrated circuits, known as Applications Specific Integrated Circuits, Application Specific Standard Products and Standard Linear ICs to a variety of customers. The customers of the segment are mainly in the communications, industrial, medical, and automotive markets. The Full Service Foundry and other segment include manufacturing activities for analog/mixed-signal products segment and third party foundry customers. The Group's branch facilities are located in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan.
