C A T Oil AG. The Group's principle activity is Oil production. The Group divides its business activities into the segments Seismic and Well-Service. It specializes in services, which the Group offers to oil and gas majors as well as smaller oil producing companies, to increase the productivity of new as well as existing oil and gas formations. This is achieved through hydraulic fracturing, a method by which groups of rocks are fractured with high pressure or chemicals, in order to increase oil flow. In addition to hydraulic fracturing, the Group offers side-track drilling, coiled tubing, remedial cementing operations and geotechnical services. The Group operates in Russia, Austria and Kazakhstan.
