Boehler-Uddeholm AG. The Group's principal activity is to manufacture special steel. The Group's activities are carried out through four divisions: High Performance Metals, Welding Consumables, Precision Strip and Special Forgings. The High performance metals manufactures special steels and special alloys such as nickel-based materials for use in automotive supplier industries, machine tool manufacturers, aerospace industries and electronics companies. The Welding consumables manufacture welding consumables for sheathed electrodes, solid wire, and filler wire for electrical arc welding and soldering materials. The Precision Strip manufactures strip steel for use in the production of saws to cut wood, stone, punch cardboard, paper plastics, printing doctor blades. The Special forgings manufacture drop-forging hammers, open die hammers and precision forged blades. The Group operates in Australia, Europe, Asia, Africa and Americas.
