Business Description
Tsakos Energy Navigation Limited. The Group's principal activity is to provide world-wide marine transportation services for national, major and other independent oil companies and refiners under long, medium and short-term charters. The Group believes that we have established a reputation as a safe, cost efficient operator of modern and well-maintained tankers. The Group has a total of 71 operating vessels under management (with a further 16 to be delivered, six of which are vessels under construction for Tsakos Energy Navigation, as of March 31, 2009). The transportation services are provided for national, major and other independent oil companies and refiners under long, medium and short term charters. Several of the world's major oil companies are among the regular customers of the company.
