Business Description
Canadian Hydro Developers, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to develop, own and operate renewable energy generation facilities. It operates in three segments: Wind, Hydro, and Biomass. These have been identified based upon the nature of operations and technology used in the generation of electricity. The renewable generation portfolio is diversified across three technologies (water, wind and biomass) in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. As of 18-Mar 2008, the Group operates 20 renewable energy generation facilities totaling net 364 MW in operation. All of the operating plants of the Group are certified or slated for certification, under Environment Canada's EcoLogoM Program. The Group acquired GM Power Corporation & Le Nordais Wind Plant in 2007.
