Business Description
Hillsborough Resources Ltd. The Group's principal activity is the the operation of coal mines, the development of new coal resources and the development of opportunities related generally to coal and industrial minerals. Its coal interests are targeted at both the thermal and coking coal markets. The Group's principal asset is the wholly owned Quinsam Coal mine located near Campbell River on Vancouver Island. It produces coal which is much sought by the power plants and other industrial applications. It has also commenced commercial coal sales in the pulp and paper market.
