Business Description
Viterra Incorporation Formerly known as Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. The Group's principal activity is to provide vertically integrated Canadian agri-business engaged in a number of distinct but interrelated businesses. It operates in five segments: Agri-products sales and services include manufacturing, distributing and retailing crop inputs and supplies to producers, including seed, crop protection products, fertilizer and equipment. Grain Handling and Marketing contracting, marketing and transporting grain from western Canadian producers to consumptive customers. Livestock Feed and Services provides manufacturing with six feed mills and two pre-mix sites in Western Canada. Agri-food Processing provide manufacturing of bulk grains Can-Oat Milling. Financial Product provides credit services to customers of the Agri-products and Livestock Services segments through a Canadian financial institution. It operates across Western Canada, through the south central United States, Japan and Singapore.
