Business Description
Logistec Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to provide cargo handling and other services to a wide variety of marine and industrial customers. The Company has cargo-handling facilities at 20 ports in Eastern Canada and the United States East Coast and provides short-line rail transportation of coal in Cape Breton (NS), agency services to foreign shipowners and operators, marine transportation services to the arctic, and environmental services, site remediation, risk assessment, and rehabilitation of underground water pipes and aqueducts. On October 30, 2008, the Group acquired Sydney Coal Railway Inc. In May 2008, the Group discontinues its operations at Bridgeport.
