Business Description
Transforce Income Fund. The Group's principal activities are to provide trucking and logistics services throughout North America. The Group operates through four segments: The Less-Than-Truckload & Parcel Delivery provides partial-load general-freight pickup and delivery to customers across North America. Specialized Services segment offers a wide range of logistics services to the clients. The Specialized Truckload segment provides services to specific industries such as mining, with the transportation of explosives and energy, where they move petroleum products in tankers. The Truckload business carries full trailers of general goods directly from the client to the destination. The Group also handles bulk materials such as cement, fly ash and lime. The Group has operations in Canada and the United States. In 2007 Group acquired Westfreight Systems Inc, Westfreight Holdings (USA) Inc, Location Beaudry and Century II Holdings Inc.
