Business Description
Altagas Income Trust. The Group's principal activities are to gather, process, transmit and distribute natural gas and natural gas liquid in Canada. It operates in five segments: Etaction and Transmission provides NGL processing and extraction plants and transmission pipelines to transport natural gas and NGLs. Field Gathering and Processing provides natural gas gathering lines and processing facilities. Energy Services provides energy consulting and sale of natural gas and electricity. Power Generation provides coal-fired and gas-fired power output under power purchase arrangements and other agreements, gas-fired power plants, wind and run-of-river power projects under development. Corporate The costs of providing corporate services and general corporate overhead,investments in public and private entities. On 10-Jan-2008, it acquired Taylor NGL Limited Partnership; on 07-Jan-2008, Glenridge; on 31-Jul-2008, NovaGreen Power Inc and on 15-Aug-2009, GreenWing Energy Management Ltd.
