Business Description
Sydbank AS. The Group's principal activity is provision of commercial banking services, investments banking, securities trading and real estate services. It operates in four segments: Banking, Markets, Treasury and Other. The Banking segment provides professional advice and services for retail clients, private clients and corporate clients. In addition, it also includes Asset Management undertaking traditional asset management such as the management of the Group's pooled plans and individual portfolio management mandates. The Markets segment includes the Group's trading and customer oriented activities within the securities, interest rate and foreign exchange markets. The Treasury segment is responsible for the Group's treasury portfolio. The Group operates in Denmark, North Germany and Switzerland. It acquired BankTrelleborg AS in 2008.
