Business Description
Ambu A/S. The Group's principal activities are the development, production and marketing of diagnostic and life-supporting equipments and solutions to hospitals and rescue services. The Group operates under five business areas namely: Respiratory Care, Cardiology, Neurology, Training and Immobilization. Respiratory Care segment consists of ventilation products for artificial respiration. Cardiology segment consists of single-use electrodes for mappings of the cardiac rhythm and ECG-recordings. Neurology segment conducts neurophysiological tests. Training includes basic and advanced first aid training. Immobilization segment includes collars that support neck and head in case of injuries. The major customers of the Group include emergency services, hospitals, training organizations, armed forces, civil defense units and relief organizations. The Group has production facilities in Ballerup and Olstykke in Denmark and in Xiamen, China and Penang, Malaysia.
