Business Description
Ilkka-Yhtyma Oyj. The Group's principal activity is cross-media publishing and printing. The Group operates in two segments: Publishing and Printing. The publishing segment comprises the publishing companies Sanomalehti Ilkka Oy, Vaasa Oy and Pohjanmaan Lahisanomat Oy. The Group publishes the provincial papers, Ilkka and Pohjalainen, five local papers (Jurvan Sanomat, Jarviseutu, Komiat, Suupohjan Sanomat and Viiskunta) and two free sheets, Etela-Pohjanmaa and Vaasan Ikkuna. The printing segment comprises the sheet and newspaper printing company I-print Oy. The Group operates in Finland and Other Nordic countries. The Group acquired Kauhava on 31-May-2008.
