Business Description
Glaston Corporation Formerly known as Kyro Oyj Abp. The Group's principal activities are to manufacture, market, maintain and service glass processing machines. The Group operates in three business segments: Pre-processing, Heat Treatment and Software Solutions. Pre-processing includes glass pre-processing machines sold under the Bavelloni brand, maintenance and service operations, as well as tool manufacturing. The Heat Treatment segment includes tempering, bending and laminating machines, maintenance and service operations as well as the glass processing operations of Tamglass Glass Processing. Heat Treatment's brands are Tamglass and Uniglass. The Software Solutions segment covers enterprise resource planning systems for the glass industry under the brand Albat+Wirsam. The Group operates in Europe, Middle East and Africa, North, Central and South America and Asia. In 2007 it acquired Albat+Wirsam Software Group. The Group acquired Shanghai Yunzhe Software Co., Ltd. in 2008.
