Business Description
Egide. The Group's principal activities are designing, manufacturing and distribution of hermetic packages for the protection and interconnection of several types of electronic or photonic chips. The Group operates under three segments: Defence, Industry and Telecommunications. Under the segment Defence, the Group manufactures electronic casings which contain glass-to-metal or ceramic electronic systems used for defence and space related equipments. Under the Industry segment, it offers electronic casings for components which are used to shield electronic devices used in extreme conditions. Under the Telecommunications segment, it offers similar casings and hermetic packages for the telecommunication devices. The Group's main clients include: Fabrinet, Selex, Flir, Indigo, Ericsson Saab, Fermionic and ABB Entrelec. The Group operates in France, the United States, Canada, Morocco and the United Kingdom.
