Business Description
Mologen AG. The Group's principal activity is researching and developing deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA)-based drugs for diseases that require a high degree of medical treatment. The Group's activities concentrate on creating new and improving existing immunological drugs and therapies to combat cancer and developing vaccines for the prevention and treatment of serious infectious diseases in humans, as well as animals. Two core areas of the Group's operations are the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases. The Group developed and patented the DNA-based platform technologies MIDGE as well as dSLIM which provide the basis for prophylactic and therapeutic applications for treatment of diseases, represented by a range of cancer therapy solutions. The Group was involved in the first clinical trials in human gene therapy in Germany. The Group also has commercial facilities in Berlin, Madrid and Spain.
