Business Description
Cinemaxx AG. The Group's principal activity is the operating cinemas and movie theaters under the names CinemaxX and MaxX in both Germany and Denmark. As of December 31, 2008, the Company ran and maintained 35 multiscreen cinemas and three traditional movie theaters in Germany, as well as two multiscreen cinemas and one traditional movie theater in Denmark, with a total of 312 screens and approximately 82,000 seats. It operates through the segments: Ticket sales, catering and advertising. The Group has subsidiaries in Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Hungary, Turkey and the Czech Republic.
