Business Description
SCMP Group Ltd. The Group's principal activities are publishing, printing and distribution of the South China Morning Post, Sunday Morning Post and other print and digital publications. Other activities include property investment and investment holding. Through its joint ventures with Haymarket Publishing Ltd and Hearst Magazines International, the Group publishes Chinese language magazines such as 'Automobile', 'Autocar', 'Stuff', 'Cosmopolitan', 'CosmoGirl!', and 'Harper's Bazaar'. It also operates a chain of 83 'Daily Stop' convenience outlets and 18 'Health Plus' shops. The Group disposed its video and film post-production and music publishing businesses during the year ended December 31, 2008.
