Business Description
PT Medco Energi International Terbuka. The Group's principal activities are exploring and producing oil and natural gas, onshore and offshore drilling, producing methanol and electric power generation. The Group operates in seven countries, Indonesia, Cambodia, Oman, Yemen, Libya, Tunisia and the United States of America. It has a working interest in 18 blocks in Indonesia and 16 blocks in the United States of America, Yemen, Cambodia, Libya and Tunisia. The Group also has an exploration and production service contract in Oman. The Group also owns or operates 8 onshore and 6 offshore drilling rigs, a methanol plant, a liquefied petroleum gas plant, a fuel storage and distribution facility and 3 power plants. It also has an operation and maintenance service business for a state-owned coal-fired power plant.
