Business Description
Partner Communications Company Limited. The Group's principal activity is to operate mobile telecommunications network in Israel . Its product offering includes the provision of telecommunications services consisting mainly of airtime, content and handsets. Its basic service is cellular telephony service which is provided on both our GSM/GPRS network and UMTS/HSDPA network. Its basic offer includes international dialing, roaming, voice mail, short message services, intelligent network services, content based on its cellular portal, data and fax transmission and other services. Additionally, its 3G network offers services such as video calls, video-based services under the orange time sub-brand and transmission of data at speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps. Its services are marketed under the Orange brand. At 31-Dec-2008, the group had approximately 2.898 million subscribers, representing an estimated 31.4% of total Israeli cellular telephone subscribers at that date. The group operates only in Israel .
