Business Description
Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche S.p.A.. The Group's principal activities are design, manufacture and sales of machinery and plants for the steel industry. The Group's products include specialised complete turnkey plants, furnaces, casting strands, rolling mills for long products, hot and cold strip mills, strip processing lines, forges (including forging manipulators and presses) and extrusion plants, mining equipment, automation software and plant design. It operates through the two direct subsidiaries, Industrielle Beteiligung SA, engaged in the management of the Company's production Facilities, and Danieli International SA, focused on investment activities on the international financial markets. The Group has five production units located in Italy, Germany, Thailand, China-Beijing, China-Shanghai and Austria, and fourteen planning centres located in Italy, the United States, Sweden, France, the United Kingdom, 2 in Germany, Poland, Ukraine, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Romania and Japan.
