Business Description
UBI Banca. The Group (Unione di Banche Italiane Scpa) was created on 1 April 2007 from the merger between BPU - Banche Popolari Unite and Banca Lombarda e Piemontese. Ubi Banca is a federal group, which includes nine networks banks and a range of product companies. The Group has a commercial offer diversified by customer segment (retail, private and corporate) composed of banking services, asset management products, consumer credit products, Bancassurance products, leasing and factoring services, corporate and investment banking. The Group has approximately 1,940 branches in Italy, of which 894 in Lombardy and 222 in Piedmont. Furthermore the Group has an International presence mainly driven by customer needs. The Group is mainly focused on retail but has a traditional presence in the sector of medium and small enterprises and a private banking activity.
