IHI Corporation. The Group's principal activity is to manufacture comprehensive heavy machinery. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: Energy plants, Aerospace, Machinery, Distribution and steel, Shipbuilding, Real estate and Other. Energy plants division provides boilers, gas turbines, nuclear power equipment, pressure vessels and oil and gas plants. Aerospace division offers aviation engines, space development-related equipment and defense equipment and systems. Machinery division offers iron-making equipment, heat treatment facilities and paper-making machines. Distribution and steel division is engaged in the design, manufacturing, sale, repair and maintenance of logistic systems, parking equipment and building materials. Shipbuilding division provides tankers, container vessels and bulkers. Real estate division is involved in the sale, leasing and maintenance of real estate properties. Other division provides diesel engines and agricultural machinery.
