Geomatec Co., Ltd.. The Group's principal activity is manufacturing and selling Flat panel displays (FDPs) for optical equipment. The operations are carried through the following divisions: FDP board; Optical machinery part and Other. FPD board division is engaged in the manufacture and sale of vacuum film substrates, such as indium tin oxide (ITO) and metal, mainly for use in liquid crystal displays (LCDs). Its substrates are also used in mobile phones, mobile information terminals, digital cameras, notebooks and car navigation systems. Optical machinery part division manufactures and sells vacuum film substrates, such as conductor and metal, for various optical equipment including optical communication equipment, medical equipment, lighting equipment and measuring equipment. Other division offers components for display filters, solar batteries, defrosters and beam expanding lens.
