Hyundai Heavy Industries Company Limited(HHIC). The Group's principal activity is manufacturing ships. It has six businesses: shipbuilding, offshore and engineering, engine and machinery, electro electric, construction equipment and plant. The shipbuilding activities include the building of bulk carriers, crude oil carriers, liquefied petroleum gas carriers and other ships. The offshore and engineering business involves building oil- and gas-producing facilities. The engine and machinery business carries out the manufacture and distribution of marine engines and equipment, petroleum power plants, robotics systems, advanced industrial machinery and turbines. The electro electric systems business markets switchgears, circuit breakers and other equipment. The construction equipment unit manufactures crawler excavators, wheeled excavators, wheel loaders among others. The plant segment provides facilities for chemical engineering and power plants.
