Business Description
A-Rank Berhad. The Group's principal activities are manufacturing and marketing aluminum billets. Its integrated facilities include Wagstaff "Airslip" billet casting mould system, melting furnaces with regenerating burners, tilting holding furnace and fully automated vertical direct-chilled hydraulic-controlled casting machines from Australia, filters, in-line degassing machines, homogenizing furnaces and cooling booths, and automated billet-sawing machines. Sizes of billets manufactured range in diameters from 3" up to 9" and of any cut length up to 6 meters. It also has numerous testing equipment including ultrasonic fault detectors, light emission spectrometers, AlSCAN hydrogen analyzer and optical microscope. It also operates as an investment holding company. Operations are carried out in Malaysia, South East Asia, South Asia and other countries. The Group exports its products to Australia, China, Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, South Africa and South East Asia.
