Business Description
IJM Plantations Berhad. The Group's principal activity is involving in oil palm cultivation and milling. Other activities include providing agricultural management services and investment holding. At 31-03-2009, the Group's Malaysian operations had a total plantation land of 29,031 hectares, of which 25,247 hectares are planted with oil palm. During the fiscal year-ended March 31, 2009, it commenced operation of its fourth palm oil mill under the name of Sabang Palm Oil Mill II (SBPOM II). Its kernel crushing plant crushed 40,705 tons of kernels to produce 17,721 tons of crude palm kernel oil and 20,922 tons of palm kernel expellers. Operations are carried out in Malaysia and Indonesia.
