Business Description
Managem. The Group's principal activities are production and marketing of base metals and metal derivatives. The Group is mainly into the exploitation of mines throughout Morocco and the transformation of ore into value added products. It operates under five segments. Basic metals include copper, zinc and lead; Precious metals include gold and silver; Non-metallic substances include fluorine and Hydrometallurgic products include valorization of mined products. These products produce refined cobalt cathode, arsenic trioxide, copper sulphate, nickel sulphide and zinc oxide. Services include mine research, photogeology, satellite imaging, geochemistry, Geologic cartography and diffraction. The Group operates in Morocco, parts of Africa, Algeria and Saudi Arabia. In 2006, the Group acquired Societe d'investissements Industriels et Immobiliers.
