Business Description
Odfjell ASA(ODFJELL). The Group's principal activity is to provide transportation and logistical services of bulk liquid chemicals, acids, edible oils and other special products. The Group's operations are carried out through two segments: Parcel Tankers and Tank Terminals. The Parcel Tankers covers round the world service covering ports in Europe, the North and South America, Asia Pacific and Africa. The Tank Terminals supplies combined shipping and storage services and is a key operational factor in the Group's cargo-consolidation programme to reduce the time ships spend in port. The Group operates in the United States, Other North America, Brazil, Other South America, Netherland, Other Europe, Africa, Australasia, as well as Middle East and Asia. The Group acquired Flumar in 2008.
