Business Description
Wilson ASA. The Group's principal activity is the chartering and operation of small dry bulk vessels between 1,500 and 10,000 dwt in the European short sea trade. The Group operates in four segments: 2000 dwt, 3,000-4,500 dwt, 6,000-10,000 dwt and "Other". The 2,000 dwt represents shipping with tonnage sizes ofaround 2,000 dwt. The vessels sail in fixed transport patterns between Norway and the Continent, including the UK. This segment consists of transportation of various finished goods, fesi products and minerals. The 3,000-4,500 dwt segment represents transportation from Norwegian plants, various mineral cargo and fertilizers products to north European destinations, raw material and semi finished products to the Norwegian industry as well as similar transportation between non-Norwegian ports. The 6,000-10,000 dwt segment is generally based on transportation of raw material with extended trading between European ports.
