Business Description
PICOP Resources Incorporated. The Group's principal activity is producing paper products such as newsprint and kraft. Newsprint is primarily for the use of publishing companies for newspaper production. It is also used by converters for book paper and office supplies and for telephone directory paper. Kraft is primarily used for the manufacture of boxes by corrugators and box plants for packaging products. The Group produces about 15,000 MT of newsprint per month, with almost brand new and modern machines. It exports about 2/3 of its production. The Group also has a ready market catering to major dailies and publishing companies. The Group also produces timber products such as logs, lumber, plywood and veener.
