Rainbow Chicken Limited(RAINBOW). The Group's principal activity is operating as an integrated chicken producer. The Group operates as an integrated broiler producer that breeds and rears its own livestock, processes the chicken and markets fresh, frozen, value added and further processed chicken nationally and internationally. The Group operates in the local retail, wholesale, food service and export channels under three brands - Farmer Brown, Rainbow Chicken and Bonny Bird. The Group also produce a variety of dealer-own brands for a number of retailers and wholesalers. Products include Crumbed, Viennas, Polonies, Frozen Crumbed Breast Fillets, Schnitzels, Cordon Bleu, Sliced Chicken in Traditional and Smoked flavours, Ready-to-Use Chicken Mayonnaise in Tangy, Chutney and Peri-Peri flavours. The Group has three processing plants located in Worcester (Cape Town), Rustenburg (Pretoria) and Hammarsdale (Durban).
