Business Description
Howden Africa Holdings Ltd. The Group's principal activity is designing, manufacturing and marketing specialised air and gas handling solutions to a range of industries. The Group's operations are carried through two operations namely, fans & heat exchangers and environmental control. The fans & heat exchangers comprises boiler fans, heat exchangers, HVAC fans, standard and industrial fans and blowers, main surface fans, auxiliary mine fans, centrifugal blowers and dust extraction on coal mines. The environmental control covers gas cleaning plant, combustion engineering, furnaces, incinerators, process compressors, refrigeration equipment, water chillers, positive displacement blowers, waste water treatment and control and instrumentation. Major industries supplied include power generation, petrochemical, mining, construction, refrigeration, water treatment and general industry. The Group has manufacturing facilities located in Booysens and Struandale.
