Business Description
Afgri Limited. The Group's principal activity is providing services to farmers, processors and users of agricultural products. The service operation relates to logistics, financial and retail. The logistic unit comprises handling and storage with more than 4 million tons of fixed and mobile capacity countrywide, fleet management and owner-driver solutions. The financial service provides financial facilities, providing loans and seasonal accounts to farmers and agri-processors. The retail service operates through 80 retail outlets supplying requisites and equipment farming communities. The Group's product division comprises animal proteins, foods and plant oils, and clark cotton. The animal feeds comprises six manufacturing facilities at Eloff, Isando, Bethlehem, Kinross, Paterson and Klipheuwel. The Food business comprises Citrifruit, which extracts and refines citrus oil. The cotton business comprises three gins in Zambia, three in South Africa and two Malawi.
