Business Description
Zardoya Otis SA(OTIS). The Group's principal activities are the manufacture, installation, maintenance, modernization and repair of people-moving products, including elevators, escalators, and moving walkways and stairways. In addition, the Group manufactures conveyor belts, freight elevators and specialist systems for the handicapped. It also install automatic doors in residential buildings, offices, and large shops. The Group exports equipment for the installation of elevators abroad, operating in more than 200 countries. In 2006, the Group won the Korea Green Management Excellence Award for its energy-efficient Gen2 machine-roomless elevator, which has won numerous environmental awards worldwide.
