Aitken Spence & Co. Ltd.. The Group's principal activity is to provide tourism, cargo handling, printing and packaging, manufacture of garments, plantations, property development and providing management services. The Group operates in three segments namely Strategic Investments, Tourism and Cargo Logistics. Tourism includes activities of tour agents, operating domestic helicopter services and organizing and handling conferences. The Group also owns and operates hotels and resorts. The Cargo handling sector acts as agents for several shipping lines, provides international sea, air freight forwarding and courier services, operates a freight station, provides container storage facilities and specializes in refurbishing and repair of containers and chassis. The Services and other sector include insurance survey and claim settling, agency estate management, light engineering and an elevator agency. The Group operates in Sri Lank and South Asia.
